A sensitization workshop on renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) was organized for women entrepreneurs affiliated with the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Association of Nepal (FWEAN) on September 8, 2023. During the workshop more than 120 Women Entrepreneurs, with small to large scale businesses across the country, were oriented on the importance and benefits of RE and EE in industries. Ms. Manjali Shakya Bajracharya, the Deputy Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Dr. Marco Gemmer, the Head of Cooperation from the EU Delegation to Nepal, also attended the event and gave welcome speech emphasizing on the benefits of renewable energy and energy efficiency in industries and the crucial role of women and industries for development.
