More than 40 women representatives from local government and energy sector organizations participated in an interaction program to discuss gender mainstreaming in energy sector in Biratnagar on May 8, 2023. During the event, the participants had fruitful discussions on the existing renewable energy and gender-related policies and practices, including the GIZ feminist development policy. The representatives also suggested strategies to design and implement more energy projects using gender lens, in order to provide better access to the women and disadvantaged groups.
